Food @ Betong

Betong is such a small town and often friends would ask what to eat there?
Despite being small, this town is a hidden gems for a lot of great food...yum yum

Breakfast

Thai dim sum is all time favorite in Betong. Located near the clock tower towards Betong Mongkollit Tunnel, this small restaurant just located on your right near traffic lights heading to the tunnel.Come here before 7am of local time. Being late means you need to wait for a seat and very likely not much of dim sum choice left.

Lunch

To us heading to Thailand means must go for their porkie! We love Thai made braised pork, tender meat and especially yummy. We always tapao back this home.

This is Hainan Chicken with Siew Yoke.

Braised taufo and salted vege

See the fats at the Siew Yoke?

We are hungry bunch of people..Every thing gone in 20 mins!
This restaurant located in front of Mandarin Betong Hotel.
Actually this is not my favaourite braised pork place, I find the stall near the Kopitiam near clock tower taste much better. However in my last trip, the stall was not open during my stay there..

Snack

After heavy lunch we proceed for snack. yeah, we don't stop eating..we actually eat eat eat throughout the whole trip. Most the snack stalls located one street before the Betong market. They usually open from 12pm to 9pm. If you are daring enough give it a try!
